Advancing Native Missions Gift Catalog Review

Missions is something that is very close to our hearts. Whether the mission is across the globe or across the street, being the hands and feet of Jesus everywhere we can is the call for every Christian.

This is one of the reasons that I was so excited, and didn’t think twice, about reviewing and participating in the Advancing Native Missions Gifting Catalog from Advancing Native Missions. This awesome organization has a heart to carry out Matthew 24:14 and ensure that the whole world hears the Gospel.

ANM works with local (native) mission ministries to reach the more than 7,000 people groups that do not have an effective witness for Jesus Christ. ANM works to build the local body using native missionaries that already understand the language and the culture. This also helps to circumvent the increasing numbers of countries that do not allow Western countries to send missionaries.

Christian Journals Direct -Review

I love writing. I love writing lists, notes, thoughts, poetry, stories…well, everything! I developed a habit of writing because of my memory. When I was much younger, as long as I wrote something down, I could always remember it.

In school and college, as long as I wrote the information down, in my mind I could search through my notebook and find the answer or piece of information that I was looking for. Tests were much easier when I could do that!

A Little Blown Over….

Have you ever had the experience where what is happening in the physical is also occurring in the spiritual? It is no surprise that our little corner of the world has experienced another hurricane! Overall we are ok, but as I look around at the chaos and the disruption, I totally feel like I am looking at a visual representation of how I am feeling both spiritually and emotionally…a little blown over.

Hurricane Zeta came through our area and left a mess. I drove through our little town and almost cried at the loss. I look at our farm and I am thankful, but that doesn’t ease the disruption, if I can be honest. We lost power very early in the evening that it struck due to a tree that fell across our driveway, tearing down the power lines. Most of the trees along our drive were blown over. There was minimal damage to the house. Fences have to be repaired and the hay barn will need to be redone.
