“Grace Looks Amazing on You” Book Review

I was so excited to receive a copy of “Grace Looks Amazing on You- 100 Days of Reflecting God’s Love.” This was an unbelievable opportunity, not to mention how this came to be!

I was checking email and came across this offer to do a book review. My thought was that it may be a scam or just junk mail. As I continued checking emails, I came across my daily devo from Proverbs 31 ministries. (If you don’t receive these, you are really missing out!) I don’t read them every day, but for certain on the days that I do, God has usually provided just what I need. This day was no different!

I opened the devotion and straight away, I noticed the author’s name. It was the very same author of the book that I had just been given the opportunity to review. Now I don’t believe in karma or coincidences. I believe in divine appointments from God Himself. So here I am, holding this beautiful, hard cover book and writing a book review! God is truly amazing and so is His grace!

You hear that? … where the sun was shining in.

As I looked at her lying there in the sun, I was overwhelmed at the thought of the sun shining in. As she laid there, she was completely at peace. She was happy and content. She was relaxed and not stressed. She wasn’t nervous. She was totally at rest.

Spring has Sprung!

Spring has sprung in south Mississippi! You know what that means? It means an occasional cool morning, and if you are lucky, a pleasant day with the remainder of the days ushering summer in as fast as it can!

But the other thing is means, is lots of new growth. A few weeks ago, I had a week off from work and was able to go out and turkey hunt with husband. I had plenty of opportunity and even missed one. That was a sad day because mom doesn’t miss much!

But while we were sitting in the edge of the woods, calling the turkey and waiting, I noticed a young tree growing as it laid across my boot. I was completely drawn to how clearly I could see the new growth on the plant. The more I thought about that new growth, the more I saw spring’s new growth everywhere! Spring has definitely sprung!
